{"id":15349,"date":"2021-12-29T19:19:38","date_gmt":"2021-12-29T23:19:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lcdatalab.com\/?p=15349"},"modified":"2022-01-01T17:43:28","modified_gmt":"2022-01-01T21:43:28","slug":"nlp-for-siemens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lcdatalab.com\/?p=15349","title":{"rendered":"NLP for Sustainability at Siemens"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Last November, I &#8211; <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/clipizzi\/\" target=\"_blank\">Carlo Lipizzi<\/a> &#8211; participated to the Siemens &#8220;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ecosystem.siemens.com\/techforsustainability\/tech-for-sustainability-campaign\/overview\" target=\"_blank\">Tech for Sustainability Hackathon<\/a>&#8221; with George Korfiatis, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/mohammad-ilbeigi-ph-d-73aa06126\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mohammad Ilbeigi<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/azitamorteza\/\">Azita Morteza<\/a>,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/hojat-behrooz-pmp\u00ae-73533011\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hojat Behrooz<\/a>\u00a0creating the &#8220;Green Connect&#8221; team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;Hackathon&#8221; was a total of 7 challenges, 200 ideas from 1400 participants in 20 different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We developed a prototype of systems to match sustainability projects and co-funding opportunities with Siemens elements of interest. We won the challenge &#8220;Financing a Sustainable Future&#8221;!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The system would provide Siemens with funding and delivery opportunities in the sustainability area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our solution is rooted on the work I developed &#8211; with George &#8211; for the Government the last few years.
